With modern technology constantly evolving, commercial doors have seen massive improvements in recent years. This includes automatic swing doors, which are extremely convenient in high-traffic environments. As such, they are mostly used in large buildings and stores. Automatic swing doors are powered by a motion sensor that sends signals to the door’s motor, causing it to open or close as necessary.

This is the old overhead concealed automatic motor which was worn out due to heavy foot traffic over many years.
On the left is the compartment in the ceiling from which the old motor was removed and the automatic doors was subsequently installed.
Motion Detector Sensor
Pictured is the new motion detector sensor which is required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code. This was installed in order to prevent the door from hitting someone upon opening.
