The door had rubbed against the saddle

 
The front left entrance door could not be opened because the door had rubbed against the saddle and the stationary door. This ultimately led the bottom arm of the door to break.

NYC Doors and More technicians removed the door and the broken bottom arm, including the middle and the top hinges.

Adjusting the height of the door

After they rehung the door, our technicians adjusted the height of the door through the middle hinge to remove some pressure from the new bottom arm. This will prevent it from breaking in the future.

Installing a surface-mounted door closer

In addition to the hinge repair, NYC Doors and More technicians installed a surface-mounted door closer instead of the expensive concealed floor door closer.

Now, the door opens and closes easily and will function properly for many years to come.
